How do I scan a product?
Open Scout and tap the scan button. Point your camera at the product's barcode, or take a photo of the ingredients list. Scout will analyze the ingredients and give you a personalized acne-risk score within seconds.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Scout, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Open Scout, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
Why does Scout need camera access?
Scout uses your camera to scan product barcodes and capture photos of ingredient labels. Camera access is only active when you initiate a scan — it is never used in the background.
Is my data safe?
Yes. We do not sell your data to third parties. Your information is stored securely on your device and in our cloud database. You can delete your account and all data at any time from within the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
